Joining a club team at the high school level provides a healthy balance between athletics and academics. At River City Crew, we welcome newcomers as well as experienced rowers to the sport.

We typically practice four to five afternoons per week on the upper James River, less than a twenty-minute drive from most high schools in the Richmond area. During the fall & spring we compete in various regattas, one in our "home port" at Robious Landing as well as traveling to other parts of Virginia like Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads.

Averaging 50+ student rowers each season, membership in River City Crew extends far beyond practices and competition; it's a great way to meet new friends.
