River City Crew (RCC) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization run mostly by volunteers and receives no dedicated funding from external sources. Entirely member & donor-supported, the club relies on participation or membership fees from each rower as well as various fundraising activities, equipment donations, individual monetary donations & corporate sponsorships in order to operate successfully.
RCC is grateful to its sponsors and donors who give equipment donations, individual monetary donations & corporate sponsorships to ensure the continuing success of River City Crew.
In order to assist RCC in garnering funds to cover the cost of equipment and other expenses, you may participate in this process in several ways: through our on-going fundraising activities, through donations to either specific or general capital campaigns, or through sponsorships.
NOTE: Donations are often tax deductible, so please consider becoming a donor to our organization or sponsoring the team!

PEINERT X25 SINGLE DONATED BY CHIP VOSMICK
April 5, 2008A Peinert X25 light/midweight single was donated to NMRC in the spring of 2008. We are very grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Chip Vosmick for their donation. The boat was immediately put to good use and has been rowed to winning times in the Jr. Woman's Single at the Head of the James, James River Sprints and Rockett's Landing Regatta.

TWO EIGHTS DONATED BY WAKE ROWING
August 25, 2006In 2006, at the inception of North Mooreland Rowing Club, two eights were donated by Wake Rowing of North Carolina. Although these boats were missing riggers and seats Coach O'Rourke was able to trade one of the boats to James River Rowers for the missing equipment from an older, damaged boat. This Kaschper eight, now in good shape, became the nucleus of the NMRC equipment. NMRC crew got its start through the generous aid of Wake Rowing and Hank Holswade, the James River coach.
