River City Crew Rowing Programs
OverviewRCC offers rowing programs for new & member participants every year in 8th through 12th grades. The team is a "competitive-level program" specifically designed for students who do not have a rowing program associated with their high school. During the fall and spring seasons, the team travels throughout Virginia to compete in several regattas against other high schools and clubs. details

Spring Crew 2012
Cost is $500.00In the spring of each year, RCC is focused on Sprint Racing! This season usually kicks off in late February or early March with dry land training while we wait for the river to be freed up from any ice. Once we get on the water, we compete at a number of home and away regattas. Enrollment in this program is restricted to high school-aged students! details

**Required to Row Crew**Members of RCC and their parents are asked to read and sign this agreement. Their participation requires a significant commitment to the team and all rules and policies are for the benefit of the team as a whole.

Fall Crew Program
Cost is $500.00With the Fall program the competitive focus shifts from Sprint Racing to Head Races. In past years, RCC has competed at the Head of the Occoquan, The Head of the James, Occoquan Chase and The Occoquan Challenge. The season starts on September 6, 2011 and runs to mid November. Enrollment for this program is open to all students in the Richmond area! details

SUMMER CAMP 2012 (Dates & times are still to be determined)
LEARN TO ROW, & INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED & SCULLINGRiver City Crew holds "Learn-to-Row" (LTR) classes for 8th to rising 12th graders including absolute beginners & intermediate / advanced rowing programs every summer. We also have the ability to have sculling lessons during the summer months as well. Learn-to-Row introduces first-timers to the equipment, procedures and basic techniques. The classes are a great way to learn more about the sport and make new friends. 2011 SUMMER SCHEDULE
